- Java-based Web Application Development

Implemented web-based XML/XSLT-driven applications using a Tomcat servlet container. Used Java, JavaServer Pages (JSP), XQuery, SOAP, and other tools and APIs to build a variety of publication frameworks.

- Perl and PHP-based Web Application Development

Designed and implemented a variety of web delivery systems for complex academic XML content, complete with XML-aware searching, flexible content delivery, and metadata analysis. Some tools included Sablotron, libxml, and nascent SOAP and XML-RPC APIs for PHP.

- Database design and implementation

Leveraged MySQL, PHP, and Javascript for web based Database delivery and searching. This included working closely with graphic/web designers to smoothly integrate database access code with overall look and feel of each web site.
