This is a temporary position under the Budget Unit. As a Senior Administrative Analyst (Budget & Finance) you will assist in preparing and developing the District’s biennial budget and support a broad range of administrative functions for the Questica budgeting system.
This position will prepare analyses to support the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) budget development, which includes coordinating and the development of O&M monthly budget factors, monitor operating equipment budget, assist in preparing monthly budget variance and expenditure reports for the O&M budget. The Senior Administrative Analyst (Budget and Finance) will provide training on use of Questica budgeting system to District budget staff.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience;
OR Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience; OR two years in an MWD Analyst classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: work experience with budgeting or financial analysis
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
