The IT Client Systems Support Team Manager is responsible for managing all services related to the Information Technology (IT) desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. You will oversee the processes for deployment, maintenance, and support for all implemented hardware, software, and operating systems.

In this role you will: manage staff, budget, equipment, and other team resources; evaluate service and project requests/incidents and determine service workflows; and oversee systems-level administration, support, and change implementations. Your team will be responsible for evaluating and supporting client computing needs including the configuration, installation, and delivery of devices.

Your experience with a wide variety of IT service support areas in addition to your ability to manage and lead others in efforts to provide high quality customer service to all levels are critical to your success in this position.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, of which two years must have been in a project management, supervisory, or lead capacity; or an advanced degree from an accredited college or university and six years of increasingly responsible relevant experience, of which two years must have been in a project management, supervisory, or lead capacity.


Relevant Experience is defined as a combination of experience including all the following: hardware or software administration; budget; purchasing; and administration.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Certification on a major IT management framework (e.g. Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies, Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Six Sigma); program certification or college degree in management and/or leadership.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
