About The Role

RMB Wealth Management provides holistic financial planning services as well as asset allocation recommendations and investment implementation for high-net-worth individuals and families. Its goal is to pilot a personalized financial plan designed with each client’s best interests, unique needs, and long-term objectives in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the administrative and client service training functions and resolves complex administrative issues for the Wealth Management team.
  • Provides an advanced level of leadership and development for team members
  • Performs many of the responsibilities of the non-advisor members of the Wealth Management team and acts as back-up when needed
  • Provides primary support for Advisors with clients and prospects
  • Provides quality control on client-facing documentation
  • Supports advisor through routine client contact and relationship management
  • Leads training of team members on administrative and client service responsibilities
  • Leads efforts to complete administrative, client service, and departmental projects
  • Resolves complex custodial and third-party manager issues
  • Assists in coordinating preparation of prospect presentations
  • Participates in cross-functional projects which support the development and implementation of new processes, systems, and best practices
  • Provides feedback on new hire performance
  • Effectively communicates with clients, advisors, team members, and trusted advisors

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Five or more years experience of in wealth management or equivalent field preferred
  • Experience servicing customers preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work required
  • Must be detail oriented and have demonstrated ability to solve problems and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to follow defined processes where they exist, while also adjusting and using good judgment when business circumstances dictate
  • Ability to direct and manage team workflow and delegate appropriately
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Series 65 required
  • CFP preferred
