AVIATION ENGINE MECHANICS FOR IMMEDIATE PLACEMENT!!!

Customer-focused, quality-oriented, and continually growing, based out of Miami, Florida, Turbopower offers more than 35 years experience providing value-added repair and overhaul services to a worldwide fleet of military, commercial, and corporate-owned aircraft. As one of only nine certified Rolls Royce AMCs in the world, we support the Rolls Royce Allison T56/501D, as well as Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A/PT6T engines and its' accessories.

Basic Function :

Perform Maintenance level repairs, and/or Overhaul of RR T56/501 and P&W PT6 engines in accordance with approved data and published work scopes. Prior experience in the maintenance, repair and/or overhaul of RR T56/501 and P&W PT6 engines required.

Essential duties are as follows but are not limited to :

  • Disassembly, inspection and assembly of RR T56/501 and P&W PT6 engines.
  • Inspection of engine parts and related components.
  • Understand configuration & fits requirements during build.
  • Know and perform proper servicing procedures.
  • Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes.

Requirements :

  • Due to regulatory requirements of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Powerplant certification desired.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an aviation mechanic. Emphasis on the overhaul and/or repair of engines is strongly preferred.
  • Willing and able to learn, with understanding of aviation procedures.
  • Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of aviation engines and components.
  • Must speak and write English and have toolbox.

A Plus

  • Experience as a test cell operator.
  • 2-5 years of MRO experience.
  • Experience in the repair and overhaul of Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).
  • Experience in Field Service work on related engines or aircraft.

Basic Schedule:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional daily overtime and Saturday if required.
