The Secular Student Alliance is currently seeking a full-time National Campus Organizing Manager.

The Campus Organizing Manager oversees all campus and student programs to ensure effective and efficient outputs in line with organizational mission and strategy. Provide responsible financial management of income and expenses within the Campus Organizing department. Manage the campus organizing staff on a day-to-day basis. Coordinates the annual conference and other regional/national-scale events, Speakers Bureau, scholarships, project grants, and any other form of financial assistance offered to groups. Contributes to the short and long-term planning of the organization, including regular involvement in strategic planning, collaboration with staff, and input into the organizational budget. Develops relationships with other organizations, both within and outside of the movement, in order to further the SSA's mission of serving student communities.

 

Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 4 years experience with student organizing, including diverse communities; grassroots organizing, computer literate and technologically proficient in standard word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications; experience in web content and social media development, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; highly organized, motivated, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and be able to work well in an energetic, engaged secular organization – and an individual who loves meeting new people and working in a truly dynamic environment.
