This position is the subject matter expert for a crucial aspect of the IT environment at MWD - administering and supporting its client /endpoint computers. The responsibilities surround day-to-day, enterprise-wide management and maintenance of nearly 2,000 Microsoft Windows clients. Managing small projects and leading initiatives are integral duties.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and six years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience.

Relevant Experience is defined as: combination of experience in the following: Creating and managing Microsoft Windows client operating system images for different models of PC hardware; Packaging and deploying applications; Client administration using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager; Preparation and application of security patches and updates; and PowerShell plus Windows Command Script use.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is a consortium of 26 cities and water districts that provides drinking water to nearly 19 million people in Southern California.
