As a Storekeeper II at Metropolitan's Headquarters you will provide a high level of customer service while employing use of your technical knowledge of warehouse management. Your exceptional customer service is crucial as you will often act as the “face” of warehouse management when interacting with Executives and other individuals of every level. Responsibilities for this position include: receiving, inspecting, distributing, delivering, transferring, securing, and accounting for materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High school diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate and two years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Storekeeper I classification.

Relevant Experience is defined as: Experience in issuing, receiving, counting, driving a forklift and entering data into a warehouse management system at a fully functional Warehouse.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.

Certificate(s): Forklift certification
