Manchester Tank & Equipment in Crossville TN, is now hiring 2nd shift (Shift differential applies)Industrial Production team members for multiple positions including:

  • Air testers
  • Valve starters
  • Off-bearers
  • Automated welding
  • Finishers

We fabricate and finish 20lb. propane tanks. Experience is not required- on the job training provided. 2nd shift currently runs four 10-hour days, and one 8-hour day. Physical demands include but are not limited to:

  • Handling(lift/lower, push, pull, move, hang, unhang..) 17-20lb propane tanks on a continuous basis for the entire shift
  • Standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing for entire shift
  • Extremely warm temperatures on the production floor due to the fabrication and finishing process
  • Noisy environment

Candidate should:

- Have a high school diploma or applicable GED

- Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

- Be able to perform the physical demands of the position

- Be willing to train on multiple positions

- Be able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand
