As an Assistant Engineer II (Design) you will participate on a project team and assist with engineering projects related to Water Treatment, Conveyance & Distribution, and the Colorado River Aqueduct. You will assist project leads through a variety of engineering work including data collection, design development, and construction support. You will have the opportunity to utilize your engineering experience with electrical projects (including study, analysis, design, construction support, and similar activities) and assignments as you support the Metropolitan Water District's mission to provide water to Southern California.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience, of which two years must have been at the Assistant Engineer I level.


Relevant Experience is defined as: engineering degree


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
