Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, 6 years of experience in patent prosecution and 4 years of experience managing multiple medium-large clients/matters.

What You Will Do:

The Case Manager will provide direct support to the clients with the management of their patent portfolio, including handling the day-to-day responsibilities for patent prosecution.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Client management for multiple large clients, including the following:   
• Working knowledge of client’s instructions and/or procedures
• Primary point of contact for internal matters
• Open patent matters and instruct docket staff on bar date/filing date/draft deadlines
• Primary point of contact for internal matters
• Provide high-level assistance with preparing new patent applications for filing, including provisional, non-provisional, CON, DIV, CIP & §371 and Request for Continued Examination (RCE) applications.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Provide good client service by maintaining a positive and professional attitude as well as positive and cooperative relationship with legal staff, peers and administrators, as well as when interacting by phone or in person with the firm's clients and external contacts.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, 6 years of experience in patent prosecution and 4 years of experience managing multiple medium-large clients/matters.

Office Location: Palo Alto, CA, Roseland, NJ or Centerville, UT (Remote until July 2021)

Schedule:

CA: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm PST

NJ: 9:00 am – 5:00 am EST

UT: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm MST

Amount of Travel Required: Less than 5%
