As the Information Technology Communication Technician II, you will join the Field Service Department in the role of a RF/Microwave Technician. You will also perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on microwave system, 2 way radio, Wifi and data network software, hardware and networks. You will assist in providing support of communication systems, tracking and monitoring communication hardware and software, handle day-to-day service requests, and provide customer assistance for solutions. You will also play a vital role in the Districts daily operation.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or High School equivalency certification, two years of relevant experience, and completion of 40 semester units from an accredited college, university, vocational or military school.

Relevant Experience is defined as: experience installing, maintaining, and repairing microwave and radio frequency (RF) communications and two-way radios. This includes network routers and switches, phones, copper and fiber cabling, and Wi-Fi wireless access points.

License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
