Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor at our Midshore II Regional Landfill in Ridgely, MD. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate plus 7 years experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment in an industrial setting, including 3 years of supervisory responsibilities. Specific sites may require power generating experience and/or power transmission, hydraulics, welding, plumbing, HVAC or light fabrication. Note: Applicants may substitute Bachelor’ Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering for 4 years of the required experience OR formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to 3 years of the required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.

Preferred qualifications include: Three or more years’ experience with maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and on-the-road trucks, as well as equipment diagnostics and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), is preferred.  Possession of a CDL Class A or B is strongly preferred.

Estimated Pay Range:

$43,810.47 - $76,669.23
