This Program Analyst position is located in the General Training and Online Learning Center Branch, Training Operations Division (TOD), within the Office of Training and Development (OTD), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Typical assignments will include:
To qualify for the SV-H Pay Band (equivalent to GS-12), you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-G Pay Band or GS-11 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience includes: Applying detailed knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, techniques, and procedures to perform routine research activities and to develop and document processes and procedures; Conducting studies to examine problems and determine solutions; and Communicating guidance, information, and direction; presenting analyses and findings both orally and in writing; and attending internal and external meetings.
To qualify for the SV-I Pay Band (equivalent to GS-13), you must have one year of specialized experience at the SV-H Pay Band or GS-12 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is defined as experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience includes: Applying an advanced knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods, techniques, and procedures to perform a variety of research activities and to develop and document processes and procedures; conducting multiple, varying studies to examine problems and determine solutions and alternative approaches; and communicating guidance, information, and direction;expert knowledge and understanding of the A.D.D.I.E model to build and develop effective training and curriculum; defending policies and programs; and presenting analysis and findings both orally and in writing and representing an organization at internal and external meetings.
