We are currently looking for a Chemist in our Flanders, New Jersey facility. In this position you will work in an Exploratory Team of Scientists and Chemists focusing on developing new color pigment dispersion technology and new colorants for architectural coatings.
Work in cross-disciplinary teams to develop new dispersion technology and next generation of colorants,
Perform formulating and testing of colorants and paints tinted with colorants,
Evaluate new and alternate color pigments, dispersants and other additives,
Record experimental results in lab notebooks,
Work with Process Engineer for pilot scale ups, maintain colorant pilot equipment.
Required Experience:
Required skills and experience
BS Chemistry or related field,
2+ year working experience in color pigment dispersion, or paint formulation
Results driven, strong attention to detail, and highly organized,
Strong verbal and written communication skills
