Last month the White House released the most comprehensive report on the state of women in 50 years. Today Women earn more college degrees then men, but a wage disparity continues between men and women at all education levels. “Women have not only caught up with men in college attendance but younger women are more likely then younger men to have a college or master’s degree,” wrote Valerie Jarrett, a senior advisor to President Barack Obama.
Women continue to make up a disproportionate share of the administrative jobs, and lag far behind men in higher paying fields such as computer and engineering jobs.
