Monitor the developments in the US fixed income markets and applying various financial and quantitative analysis techniques (i.e. regression, principal component analysis, interpolation, etc.) to assist in the generation of investment ideas and market recommendations. Apply financial analytical techniques to data to support market recommendations and investment ideas. Use quantitative and financial analyses to develop, analyze, and implement financial models to generate investment ideas and support market recommendations. Apply quantitative techniques and software programming to develop, analyze, and implement models to generate investment ideas and support market recommendations.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field and 2 years of related work experience.

Qualifying experience must include:

- Quantitative skills for financial modelling including all of the following:
• Calculating price to yield and yield to price for bonds.
• Calculating total return, historical and projected for treasuries and tips.
• Calculating duration matched returns for different maturity treasuries
• Statistical forecasting, including regression modelling to assess relative value of fixed income securities.
- Programming experience for Excel, Market and Matlab.
- Organizing and evaluating and large data sets in VBA, C and/or Excel.
- Experience working with Bloomberg and trace data.
- Experience automating data collection from sources including: Bloomberg, Federal Reserve, NY Fed, and TRACE
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks.

Must have Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, or be able to obtain within 4 months of hire/promotion.
