Position Summary:  A results-oriented eLearning Developer experienced in leading the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of a complete range of eLearning training solutions. This role will drive the development of solutions for product and technology training in support of Benjamin Moore & Co. employees, independent dealers and painting contractors. The ideal candidate will provide direction relative to the methods, tools, and processes for developing innovative, efficient and effective eLearning solutions. The goal of these solutions is to drive Benjamin Moore business growth. 

  • eLearning development: Works with internal and external clients to develop or modify courses that can be completed on platforms such as desktops,  mobile phones or tablets. Instructional technology focuses on Storyline 2 and Captivate.
  • Project management: Organizes, plans, schedules, and implements all phases of projects from inception to completion. Creates project timelines and ensures deliverables are met.
  • Implementation: Works with the internal training implementation group and external outsource partners to ensure content remains relevant to meet the needs of independent dealers, Benjamin Moore employees, and painting contractors.
  • 5 - 7 years’ experience of instructional design and/eLearning design and development, self-paced, eLearning and blended learning solutions.
  • Experience designing learning for development in Storyline, Captivate or Articulate is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, eLearning, Instructional Design, Learning Technology or a related field.
  • Client-facing experience and excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
  • An overall in-depth competency with the design and development of instructional systems and learning materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • LMS experience is an asset.

While the position is based in our Corporate Headquarters in Montvale, working remotely part-time is an option.
