OnBase Administration at Benjamin Moore

Position responsibilities include the following:

  • Monitors daily import processes
  • Monitors and administers OnBase security
  • Support scanning and capture for AR, AP and Milford & Clifton warehouses
  • Troubleshoots operational issues, works with development teams to implement appropriate solutions, and develops necessary documentation.
  • Develops new document management and imaging workflow solutions for OnBase customers to meet business needs.
  • Provides first level application support to customers and communicates periodically with users, infrastructure teams and business partners.
  • When provided access to personal, proprietary and/or otherwise confidential data, maintains such data in the strictest confidence and follows procedures to ensure the privacy, security and proper use of data.
  • Work with Portal group on OnBase API requirements and configuration data
  • Provides on-call support to business critical solutions on nights and weekends as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and provide problem resolution for complex server issues.
  • Write and document test plans for system implementation and maintenance.
  • Plan and implement upgrades
  • Respond to internal business user requests for assistance with basic issues
  • Assists with the maintenance of OnBase environment servers and performance of upgrades
  • Test changes to business applications and ensure performance is as designed; work with team members to resolve any issues

Working knowledge of:

  • Windows operating system Windows 7 and browsers for workstations
  • Windows 2003 & 2008 for servers - knowledge of services, scheduled tasks, shares, storage
  • 3-5 years of work experience with Web applications and major cross application integrations.
  • Knowledge of, and 3+ years of experience with, Hyland Software's OnBase enterprise content management software.
  • Practical knowledge of the following OnBase modules: Document Imaging, COLD, Document Management, Electronic Workflow Automation, Electronic Forms, Document Import Processing (Image and Meta-Data), Document Retention.
  • Powershell scripting
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Document Imaging and capture technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Typically 3-5 years of experience for Systems Administrator or 5-7 years for Senior Systems Administrator in IT infrastructure development
  • Technically fluent in Windows Server 2003 & 2008 administration
  • OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA)
  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL, and IIS.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing technology needs
  • Strong commitment to customer service - the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse user base having varied levels of technical proficiencies.
  • The ability to multitask between and among projects and applications.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business operations
