Spearhead strategies to promote the mission of the organization and increase public awareness, funding, and community outreach.  Partner with leadership of other chapters to enhance programming.  Represent Boston NOW’s interests on the MA NOW Legislative Task Force and the MA NOW Foundation Board of Directors.  Determine agendas, coordinate and facilitate Board meetings.  Collaborate with the Board of Directors to write and implement new policies and procedures.  Engage in strategic planning and foster intra-board relations.  Supervise MA NOW State Director and interns.   • Reorganize and strengthen business registration and records process for the chapter

  • Researched, recommended, and successfully implemented online communications products and new website technology to increase membership participation in events

Directed PAC activities for elections in Boston, Cambridge and Somerville.  Developed and circulated issue questionnaires to more than candidates seeking endorsement, facilitated interviews of more than candidates, and coordinated and announced endorsement of eight candidates.  Worked with staff and VP of Communications to author press releases.
