Experience:

Research Assistant for the Women’s Leadership Development Program of the University of Delaware
Providing training for participants of the Women’s Leadership Development Program (WLDP). The program assists women in public service to improve and develop their leadership skills. The training focuses on ethical leadership, capacity building, use of artistic tools, value based leadership and leadership in a multi-cultural environment.

June - August
Internship with the Office of Management and Budget for the State of Delaware - Government Performance Project (GPP)
Coordinated GPP-Delaware (www.gpponline.org) for the Office of Management and Budget, State of Delaware. The project involved evaluating and analyzing the state’s public management system. Information was consolidated through surveys, and used as a resource by other states in order to improve their public management systems.

August – June
Pre-School Instructor for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, Cambridge College, Santa Cruz, Bolivia
Taught classes and contributed to the diversification of the school curriculum by introducing values education, character and personality development through the arts.

July – June
Administrator for the Task Force for the Promotion and Coordination of the Discourse on Science, Religion and Development in Bolivia
Administered group discourse spearheaded by the Institute for Studies on Global Prosperity. The task force’s aim was to bring together development thinkers from different levels of Bolivian society to create a conceptual framework for the role of science and religion in the socio-economic development of Bolivia.

Oversaw the smooth flow of business, specially inventory, cash flow and human resource management and the purchase of merchandise from countries such as Hong Kong and Thailand.

Managed international correspondence and information support on legal issues.
Processed correspondence from around the world: analyzed and researched incoming and outgoing documents, drew up summaries and reports and drafted responses on legal inquiries for the different Bahá'í communities.
Liaison for the Legal Office and the Information Systems Department during a computer transition period from UNIX to a Windows NT environment. Troubleshooter and trainer of the Windows package.
Responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the filing system, later adopted by the entire Bahá'í World Centre, after the pilot program proved successful in the Legal Office.
Research, documentation and database development on properties of the Bahá'í International Community in Israel and the Middle East.
