Essential job functions:
- Assist with installation of fouondations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steeel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
- Ability to fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
- Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
- Follows supervisors direction as it relates to specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
- Shapes or cuts materialss to specified measurements, using hand tools,machines, or power saws.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Interior finish work including cabinet installation, flooring, frameworks, and other miscellaneous finishes
- Knowledge of material usage and best practices.
- Demolition of existing structures
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
- keeps jobsite clean daily.
- Other tasks as assigned.
