As an Administrative Assistant II your primary responsibility will be to provide direct administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You must be able to: effectively manage the schedule of our CFO; correspond and coordinate with multiple parties; proofread, edit, draft, track and organize documents; and support administrative requests from others within the CFO Group.

Your ability to produce accurate and quality work in a timely manner under tight deadlines is critical as you perform a wide range of administrative duties in support of the CFO Group. Your responsibilities will allow you to demonstrate your attention to detail, organization ability, interpersonal effectiveness, and Microsoft Office technical skills.

This is a temporary assignment estimated to last 4 months.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: A high school diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate and five years of relevant experience; or Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and three years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and one year of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Administrative Assistant I classification.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIREMENTS
Valid California Class C Driver’s license or equivalent from state of residency that allows you to drive in the course of your employment (Must have at time of application.)
