  • The Head of Client Management will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Client Management and Client Integration professionals. The Client Management team provides an entry point into the firm for Securities Financing clients for all post execution queries. This individual is expected to have a thorough understanding of Prime Brokerage and Financing.  Significant and current knowledge of Alternatives and alternatives operations is imperative to the success and impact of this role.
  • The Head of Client Management and their team will deal with all daily tasks assigned by the client across Global Markets and Global Custody products liaising with internal areas across the firm to resolve client queries
  • The Head of Client Management is expected to contribute to the profitability and growth of the Securities Financing client base by delivering an excellent client service experience, striving to enhance existing relationships through improved service and developing a service model and reputation that attracts new clients.
  • The individual hired into this role is expected to have a thorough understanding of Cash Prime Brokerage, Synthetics, Repo and Arranged Financing / Enhanced Leverage.
    • Lead a team that acts as principal point of contact for Alternatives clients for all post execution business. 
    • Lead a team that develops strong and productive relationships with the client, ensuring current and future business requirements are understood and satisfied at all levels.
    • Resolve queries, particularly relating to corporate actions, margin, stock loan, trade settlement and cash as well as across Global Market products as required.
    • Look to improve processes, implement procedures for smooth running business.
    • Lead the implementation of new products and platform enhancements  
    • Navigate firm and build internal/external network of contacts to resolve issues.
    • Provide ‘added value’ service to clients.
    • Facilitate regular client service reviews with client.  Act as ambassador for HSBC.
    • Develop and maintain client account plans documenting the current relationship and opportunities to expand future products and revenues.
    • Contribute towards building and enhancing the Securities Financing business by playing an active role in product or platform development
    • Be the client advocate within HSBC challenging where appropriate from the client’s perspective.
    • Retain and grow existing business through client satisfaction and cross selling. 
  • Work well within team environment across business units and locations that are important to the success of Securities Financing.
