Responsible
for the promotion of the Liquidity Product proposition and the development of
the Liquidity deal pipeline. Responsible for the development and execution of
the Self-Funding liquidity product portfolio proposition (Cash Concentration,
Interest Enhancement, and Notional Pooling) in North America. Engage in both a
support role as well as a facilitator for new business development
opportunities with GLCM Sales and Global Businesses' RMs. Support GLCM and
group-wide strategic programs providing Liquidity Product SME. Meet customer
needs with a consultative approach and position HSBC capabilities to achieve a
high success rate and to increase HSBC's client wallet's acquisition. Support
GLCM Sales and RMs in Liquidity deal solutioning. Issue publications, external,
internal articles on Liquidity related topics.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must have Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or Finance or in a related field with at least five years of experience in the financial services industry.
Qualifying experience must include:
- Cash & Treasury Management practices.
- Liquidity Management strategies, structures, products & services - specifically exposure to liquidity management and investment products across North America markets and globally.
- Banking, investment and cash management regulation & practices - such as Basel III, foreign exchange controls, relevant taxation considerations.
- On and off-balance sheet deposit products & strategies.
- Interest rate environment and Asset & Liability Management / Balance Sheet Management & their application into deposit / liability strategy.
- Cash management market requirements and developing liquidity solutions and strong understanding of on and off-balance sheet deposit products & strategies
- Developing tools and collateral to commercialize financial products
- Managing cross-functional or design teams relating to liquidity and investment products
- Working with SME and complex RFPs
- Experienced in one or more Payments and Cash Management core business lines
- Competitor analysis of financial industry in both the US and global markets
Domestic and International Travel Required Up To 25%
