Principal Accountabilities:
- Leadership/Supervisory
- Contributing
to the development and implementation of an overall strategy and vision for the
team in line with our FX, EM and the overall Markets and Securities Services
strategy
- Responsible
for growing our overall FX sales revenues across Americas and the global
institutional client base by identifying growth opportunities, enabling sales
efficiency and effectiveness, and taking responsibility for the function’s
performance against weekly/monthly/annual targets
- Hire
and manage a strong and capable team; play a mentorship role to key positions
within the FX Institutional Sales function and develop and maintain a
succession plan
- Ensure
all audit, legal and regulatory and supervisory requirements are adhered to
within Americas region, including conduct, compliance, and policies and
procedures
- Strategy
- Ensuring
alignment with global Institutional FX sales strategy and implementing client
and sales strategies that further the business agenda and drives enhanced
revenue generation
- Responsible
for marketing the bank’s services to new and existing clients. This includes developing and maintaining
clear plans that increase profitability with our existing and new clients.
- Implementing
a globally consistent sales coverage model for the Americas region
- Collaboration
- Drive
collaboration with other internal businesses within Markets and Securities
Services:
- Platform
Origination: increase FX Prime mandates (with Hedge Funds particularly) and
drive more e-penetration amongst institutional clients
- Drive
collaboration with other internal businesses
- Security
Services: help GIS develop products which improves our Security Services value
proposition
- Global
Banking (GLCM): ensure alignment of FX product to GLCM originated flow where
relevant.
- GPB:
help support and build out a value proposition to UNHW clients
- Candidate
will partner with Platform Origination teams with regards to designing,
executing and monetizing the expansion of our Digital capabilities for FX in
Americas region.
- Candidate
will partner with Equity and G10 Debt and Financing, and Emerging Markets sales
in driving greater collaboration, cross selling and content delivery across
Americas. Candidate will have a subset of broader sales objectives to ensure
collective results are delivered.
- University Degree or advanced qualifications
and equivalent experience
- Experience in managing a team, ideally within
a Markets and Securities Services function
- Strong understanding of a Markets and
Securities Services business and able to work within a matrix organization
- Comfortable working in a dynamic,
entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
- Deep understanding of markets, foreign
exchange instruments and commodities
- Strong Institutional client relationships
