As an Information Technology Software Developer III (Oracle Applications) you will be primarily responsible for programming business applications using Oracle Databases with a specific focus on Metropolitan's water billing application. You may define, design, develops, and/or deploy: software; web pages and artifacts; and reporting.

You will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of and experience with Microsoft.NET Web Development, Oralce PL/SQL and Reporting Tools, Visual Basic, and C# while performing your responsibilities.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and four years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and two years of relevant experience.


Relevant Experience is defined as: programming experience within Oracle databases


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is a consortium of 26 cities and water districts that provides drinking water to nearly 19 million people in Southern California.
