As a Storekeeper III you will be responsible for ordering, receiving, cycle counting, issuing, inspecting, distributing, transferring, securing, and accounting for materials, supplies, tools and equipment.

You will work with a group of employees in performing routine and non-routine storekeeper work including researching and resolving transaction discrepancies; assisting in locating supplies; and generating material requisitions for inventory procurement.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your customer service, organizational, and technical abilities as you support various teams within Metropolitan.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: High school diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate and four years of relevant experience; or two years in a MWD Storekeeper II classification.
Relevant Experience is defined as: Working experience performing inventory control or warehouse experience.


CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
