Provide technical leadership and ongoing system support across the organization. Develop and maintain data and processes of a complex nature to support the tactical and analytical needs of the assigned unit. Coordinate and complete complex projects according to plan when assigned. Employ several programming languages of different utility to access information systems (Data Warehouses, data marts, raw data source files, etc.) to provide information support to assigned unit. Direct project activities, initiate analysis, and provide solutions for problems within scope of responsibility. Work independently with management and key end-users to understand and obtain information requirements. Enable and assist analytic and business staff to achieve optimal financial return from data resources.

Qualifications

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive work experience in a computing or information science environment.

Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field and 3 years of experience in a computing or information science environment.

Qualifying experience must include:

• Programming in SAS, SQL, Unix, and Data warehouse concepts
• Design and coding methodologies within the financial services industry
• Database query writing skills
• Designing, developing and maintaining highly complex databases and data marts including Oracle and DB2.
• Developing, testing and writing complex application programs, queries and profiles according to specification including SAS, Unix and SQL
• Experience in data validation and business standards
• Working with and overseeing offshore teams
