We are currently looking for a Manufacturing General Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The General Manager will direct and manage Pioneer Industries operations with overall responsibilities for safety, financial performance, sales, production, maintenance, quality, and on-time delivery.  

With over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, Pioneer Industries’ capabilities include comprehensive sheet metal fabrication, machining, finishing, water jet and assembly services for a wide range of current products in the aerospace and commercial industries.

  • Meet safety objectives.
  • Coordinate plant activities through planning with departmental managers to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.
  • Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
  • Develop specific short and long term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.
  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
  • Provide direction, development and leadership to production management team.  

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Proactive and critical thinker, and has proven leadership skills with a huge drive for bottom line results.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized independent thinker.
  • Strong operations knowledge of executing successful marketing and distribution strategies.
  • Strong management and strong communication skills (written and verbal) as well as a high degree of strategic vision to see opportunity to expand into new markets. 
  • Understanding and use of solid business practices for operational efficiency and growth.
  • Deep experience managing a large manufacturing environment.  

PREFERABLY YOU WILL BRING

  • MBA in business administration, economics, strategy, technology, or management with an emphasis in strategic planning and/or business development from an accredited institution or extensive manufacturing leadership roles over a minimum of 6 years may be substituted.
