In the Information Technology Communication Technician II position, you will join the Field Service Department in the role of a Voice and Data Communications Technician. You will perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on voice, data and wireless communications equipment, software, hardware and networks. You will assist in providing support of communication systems, tracking and monitoring communication hardware and software, analyze requests and provide customer assistance for solutions. You will also play a vital role in the Districts daily operation.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: High school diploma or High School equivalency certification, two years of relevant experience, and completion of 40 semester units from an accredited college, university, vocational or military school.
Relevant Experience is defined as: experience installing, maintaining and repairing network routers and switches, phones, copper and fiber cabling, and Wi-Fi wireless access points.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
License(s): Valid California Class C Driver’s License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
