Washing Systems (WSI) seeks a highly self-motivated Group Sales Manager (GSM) to join our thriving team. WSI is the largest supplier of laundry chemicals to the commercial laundry industry in North America. WSI provides high quality chemical products for both uniform and linen rental companies. The GSM is responsible for growing the business and driving WSI's market position within the commercial laundry industry. The GSM will create personal sales opportunities and close on those opportunities. Reporting to the V.P. of Sales, the GSM will help create, improve, and implement innovative sales strategies to drive WSI's position and increase market share.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS:
Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

  1. Acquire new customers through identification, prioritization, and strategic analysis.
  2. Partner with business leaders to assess opportunities and manage the customer interface and pipeline.
  3. Develop sales plan and execute said plan by using existing knowledge and background in laundry and chemical products.
  4. Provide analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenues.
  5. Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
  6. Partner with Marketing on customer, brand and new product initiatives.
  7. Support the business leaders by identifying strategic areas of growth.
  8. Create and present effective proposals to prospective customers.
  9. Help transition new business to the National Accounts team when applicable.
  10. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in cumulative business development experience. Will also consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the commercial laundry industry is preferable.
  • History of achieving individual and team sales goals.
