Washing Systems seeks a highly self-motivated, VB.Net Developer to join our thriving team.  Washing Systems (WSI) is the largest supplier of commercial laundry detergents in North America, and we provide high quality commercial laundry and chemical products to both uniform and linen rental companies.  The VB.Net Developer will be responsible for maintenance and support for existing applications.  Development for new applications and upgrades to existing programs.  Meeting data needs of multiple departments and database development/maintenance for activities pertaining to WSI’s computer and internet network systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS:

Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

 

  1. Troubleshoot, monitor, enhance and provide support for existing systems.
  2. Develop new applications by evaluating client needs, analyzing/documenting requirements, developing quality software and effectively test.
  3. Develop/maintain Crystal Reports.
  4. Database development and maintenance.
  5. Develop/maintain systems documentation and user manuals.
  6. Identify alternatives for optimizing computer resources.
  7. All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Programming or related field and 5+ years of experience are required.  Will also consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • VB.Net experience developing client apps is required.
  • Microsoft Access/SQL Server experience is required.
  • Preferred Skills include:
    • Crystal Reports
    • Windows Embedded
    • Server Administration
    • Networking Experience
    • Microsoft Office 2013 or 2016
  • Experience in the following would be a plus:
    •  .Net Web Development
    • JQuery and Bootstrap
    • Xamarin
    • Excel VBA
