Position Title:             SALES REPRESENTATIVE/CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICE (CSR)

Reports to:                  Regional Vice President Sales

 ENTRY LEVEL POSITION - IDEAL FOR A RECENT GRADUATE!

Position Summary:

Position is business to business customer sales development. Develop assigned territory so that service and support revenue goals and objectives are met or exceed and long-term customer relationships are developed and maintained.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Identify all equipment service and support prospects in assigned territory and evaluate as to potential and resources needed to convert to service customers.
  2. Prioritize all prospects, develop and implement conversion sales plan.
  3. Analyze and evaluate all existing service accounts for customer loyalty and growth potential, develop and implement sales growth plan.
  4. Familiarize each prospect and existing customer with the full range of Heubel service and support products and services and promote the benefits resulting from their use.
  5. Work closely with Core Sales Reps as new equipment sales opportunities are identifies.
  6. Assist in the resolution of customer service problems or disputes that might arise.
  7. Keep customer database current and complete at all times.
  8. Provide regular reports to management as required.
  9. Support the development of department and corporate sales and marketing plans.
  10. Develop and maintain good customer relations on a continuous basis.
  11. Assist in resolving any customer billing issues that may arise including delinquent accounts.
  12. Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
  13. Work with all departments and employees to insure quality of customer service.

 

Special Skills Needed:

Strong interpersonal skills, good presentation skills, ability to relate sales objectives to customer needs and articulate business benefits to the prospect in a way that results in sales. Ability to establish and develop relationships that promote aftermarket sales on a continuing basis. Use analytical skills to utilize market research to support sales efforts.

 

Physical Job Demands:

Communicate verbally and in writing. Use telephone and PC. Drive automobile and make multiple customer calls each day in assigned territory. Make formal presentations. Entertain customers as appropriate. Travel to seminars, conventions and meetings as necessary. Stoop, bend and lift 10-25 lbs. Climb occasional stairs and dock ladders.

 

Position is:  Salaried (exempt) + monthly compensation & bonuses,

Further Requirements:   Must maintain valid Driver’s license, an acceptable driving record and must show proof of current car insurance.

Education Required:               Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Required:              Business to business prior sales experience in material handling industry or industrial equipment sales desirable but not required.
