Job Summary Ind1
We are currently looking to fill an Associate Chemist position. In this position you will support the laboratories by performing tests, managing equipment and records and participating in the commercialization process of our products to ensure timely introduction to the marketplace while ensuring our quality standards are not compromised.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare experimental batches of paint or synthesis of polymers
* Perform paint & polymer testing and analyze results
* Collaborate with Senior chemists in the development of paints & polymers
* Prepare reports and execute work assignments
* Document and share observations and learning

Required Experience:
* BS in Chemistry or a related science major is required
* 1-2 years’ experience in a lab environment
* Results driven, strong attention to detail, and highly organized,
* Ability to manage a narrow to broad range of products and projects.
* Knowledge of routine testing procedures
* Able to utilize formulation software
* Working knowledge of laboratory practices,
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
