This position will be responsible for helping support execute basic laboratory tests of our architectural coatings products in support of consistently enhancing out products performance and quality.
In this position you will be responsible for the following:
* Performing product physical and application testing
* Recording test results efficiently and accurately via computer systems or capturing observations in laboratory notebooks.
* Assisting in the development of new or modified test methods.
* Supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
* Maintaining clean laboratory stations and equipment.
* Adhering to all laboratory safety guidelines while performing job responsibilities.
* Maintaining laboratory supplies.
Required Skills:
* Ability to analyze data

* Ability to work independently if needed
Required Experience:
* High School Diploma Required, Associate degree in a science discipline preferred
* Knowledge of standard paint application or testing preferred
* An understanding of competitive coatings is a plus
* 1-2 years in a laboratory or construction/painting maintenance environment is a plus
