Benjamin Moore & Co, a world-class leader in paint products and color, is currently looking for an experienced Master Data Governance Manager to join the IT team. Reporting to the Director, IT Governance & PMO, this individual will assist our internal business areas in defining and managing master data as well as work closely with the Data Governance Council to ensure and enforce compliance with data governance policies and processes.

Responsibilities:
* Work with business stakeholders to establish data governance capabilities for customer, material, vendor and employee master data
* Create roadmaps for all master data types by documenting current and future state diagrams as well as defining gaps
* Develop a master data model including attributes and values allowed for each data type
* Establish a quality governance model which meets both business and compliance requirements
* Help educate newly assigned Data Stewards & Data Custodians on their role and their ownership of the data and maintaining standards of data quality
* Provide process ownership including process improvements, designing new processes and developing performance measures
* Implementation of processes and procedures to minimize the risk to data integrity as well as define remediation plans to mitigate known data risks
* Understand sources of master data- business and IT knowledge of where master data is sourced and authored
* Identification of both producers and consumers of master data as well as how the data will be used for reporting and analytics
* Support the Data Governance Council by driving and delivering on data-related projects and initiatives

Required Skills:
* Capacity to work in a non-structured environment and help in building structure/governance processes
* Ability to manage by influence within and across various IT & Business areas
* Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to interface and interact at all levels from stakeholders to senior level management
* Detail oriented and highly organized
* Knowledge of MDG and MDM technologies, SAP MDG experience preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience with Master Data Governance program management
* 4 year Bachelor's Degree
