Job Summary
Benjamin Moore is looking for a passionate and skillful graphic designer to join our new and growing in-house creative department and participate in driving business to the next level. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative work environment that is fast-paced but also friendly and casual. This self-starter takes ownership of projects from concept and design through production and is a creative problem solver.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintains graphic standards and consistency for multi-brand, multi-channel, both internally and externally, covering the Retailer, Contractor, Architect and Design Community
* Executes flawless development of marketing programs with an emphasis on dynamic communication that aligns with our brands
* Responsible for a variety of creative projects, including brochures, advertisements, catalogs, POP, presentations, logos and packaging
* Works with outside suppliers and vendors in the development of point-of-purchase materials, color systems, color cards and printed materials
* Proactively identifies customer needs through probing questions and effective listening
* Partners with team on creative research when applicable
* Stays current with trends in graphic design
Required Skills:
* BFA in Graphic Design
* 5 - 7 years of experience of creative design and production process experience is essential
* Computer skills: Adobe Creative Cloud 2015 - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat,
* Basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
* Demonstrated knowledge of design principles: layout, color theory, typography
* Ability to work on numerous projects simultaneously with aggressive turnaround deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to follow art direction and collaborate on design projects within a team environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
