Job Summary
The SAP Master Data Lead manages a small team while also administering master data across the enterprise, ensuring high levels of metadata, data quality, integrity, availability, accuracy, completeness, consistency and privacy. Specific and deep skills in Material Master are required

* Defines the SAP Customer/Material/Finance Data structures and is the custodian of the Master Data. Design and Implement the elements, attributes and other characteristics Customer/Material/Finance Data
* Responsible for standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, monitoring/auditing the data quality
* Drive Data Governance. Establish governance guidelines and principles. Lead and facilitate the creation of governing principles to guide decision making and help to ensure that the optimal governance structure are in place. Promote the outcomes and results to the organization
* Identify, analyze and report/resolve data issues, related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency and completeness.
* Establish data profiling techniques for data patterns and metric/benchmark reporting to derive actionable insight.
* Establish and maintain the data dictionary
* Provide analytical and governance skills to maintain and develop enterprise master data through enterprise MDM tools.
* Develop, Verify and suggest changes to requirement gathering, design documents, perform impact analysis for application changes.
* Plan and organize tasks, report progress, manage & coordinate with the integration partners for implementation.
* Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
* Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently.
* Manages 2-3 other data analysts

Required Skills:
* Must have supervisory experience, work well as an individual contributor and be results oriented.
* Experience with SAP Master Data with extensive experience with material master. Experience with SD, MM, FI, PP modules is also required.
* Data Management Capabilities such as Data Governance, Data Quality and Master Data Management.
* Minimum seven to ten years of total experience in multiple disciplines such as data analysis, process analysis, business process cycles within a multitier organization. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in hands-on implementation of SAP ERP Master Data. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
* Expertise in defining master data structures, source to target mapping, business rules and definitions. Experience with Data Warehousing systems.
* Focus on relationship building, ability to work with other leaders and peers across the organization. Should be comfortable working in a rapidly transforming organization
* Ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, computer science, computer engineering or a related field of study from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
