Benjamin Moore & Co is currently looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual to join our Marketing team. You will implement Benjamin Moore's marketing strategy and execute all retail-marketing components to ensure the consistent and timely activation of the marketing plan at the local market level. The successful candidate will counsel Benjamin Moore retailers on marketing best practices to strengthen and differentiate our channel, drive sales, support community involvement and improve market position.

Principle Responsibilities:
* Counsel Benjamin Moore Retailers to develop marketing strategies and advertising plans.
* Assist with the implementation of Benjamin Moore Retailers’ marketing strategies and advertising plans.
* Provide Sales Representatives marketing support to develop annual retailer business plans
* Ensure all retailers develop marketing and promotional materials that adhere to Benjamin Moore brand standards and pricing guidelines
* Educate retailers and Benjamin Moore sales force on brand initiatives and marketing programs; including the Benjamin Moore sponsored programs
* Act as an advocate for independent retailers and Benjamin Moore sales forces by providing the marketing team with insights and feedback
* Communicate marketing best practice standards to retailers and Benjamin Moore sales force
* Protect Benjamin Moore’s premium positioning and the brand image

Execution of Process
* Build strong relationships with Benjamin Moore’s independent retailers and Benjamin Moore sales force
* Communicate Benjamin Moore’s brand standards and other marketing programs through face-to-face retailer visits, Retail Services Team meetings, market meetings and other points of contact
* Supervise the proper use of Benjamin Moore Co-Op advertising funds and guidelines to ensure a consistent and efficient Benjamin Moore message to our targeted audiences based on retail objectives
* Provide field input and market rationale to assist the marketing communication strategies for the retail channel

Relationship Management
* Forge an ongoing and consistent partnership among the Product, Retail Services and Brand Marketing Teams by demonstrating value as a leader in defining and managing the promotions strategy, messaging, and targeted retail experience
* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the development and execution of retail national promotions and events

Required Skills:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent
* Knowledge of retail operations and management with 5+ years’ experience
* Proven experience in developing/implementing marketing plans within budget
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent project management and implementation skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Ability to travel overnight up to 50%
* Proficient with data analysis and market research
* Proficient in MS Office
* Previous Ad buying and implementation experience at retail a plus
* Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus
