IBM is seeking a Sr. Mobile Developer to work in Baton Rouge, LA
The rapid and widespread adoption of mobile and social technologies within the last three years has changed the way customers and companies interact with one another – driving fundamental transformations to business processes and applications. The Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge will provide IBM’s clients in the United States with services that address the increasing demand for flexible software services to keep up with Big Data, cloud and mobile requirements that they are facing. As an employee of the Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge, you will deliver technology services including application development, application management and system integration to some of the nation's top organizations.
As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical duties including application programming, analysis, testing, and product installation to deliver high quality application solutions to clients. Tasks performed require integrating hardware, software packages and network solutions, including highly complex application components and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Applicants should also be specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billable services and implementation environment.
Basic Qualifications Include:
- Associate’s Degree
- 3 Years’ experience developing Mobile Applications (native or hybrid), iOS/Android/Windows
- 3 Years’ experience in mobile lifecycle, including application development application structure, device and operation ystem Application Program Interface (API),debugging, performance, security and deployment
- 3 years’ experience in one of the following: Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (Ajax), Representational state transfer (REST), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
- 2 Years’ experience using version control systems, such as GIT
- 2 years’ experience leading development teams and estimating development efforts
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Basic knowledge in understanding of client-server development in mobile environment, proven architect skills
