The Training Coordinator/Analyst is responsible for managing the logistics of all classroom training, providing support to the Training and Development teams, and providing secondary support for the Learning Management System. The ideal candidate has strong organizational, analytical, technical/computer skills and is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced environment with different teams.

Working with program managers and field training specialist, coordinate logistics for all instructor-led training, both internal and external.

  • Work with key internal and external coordinators, research and reserve training locations
  • Coordinate with training vendors and manage training material inventories
  • Manage overall aggregate training and development calendar of events
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, including pre-work, catering and day-of-class room setup (in conjunction with the facilities department and/or external venue) based on prearranged requirements with training program owners.

Provide administrative support for the Training & Development teams.

  • Coordinate the production, acquisition, distribution, and inventory of training materials
  • Catalog and maintain T&D electronic and paper assets
  • Track department budgets and process invoices, reconcile monthly budget reports and PCard expenses
  • Maintain vendor files with latest contracts and agreements

Manage approach for tracking, measuring and evaluating training activities for Training & Development teams

  • Develop analytics for linking training activities, budget and results.

Provide back up support for the Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Provide support to end-users on LMS-related issues for both retail and corporate users
  • Generate training reports and class rosters
  • Create classes and update LMS information as required
  • Monitor training enrollments, registrations and attendance
  • Update participant registration status
  • Prepare and distribute course related material, including pre-work

Work on special projects as needed and other duties as required

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail a must
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years previous experience in a training role an asset
  • Previous experience in event management an asset
  • Experience with Plateau/SuccessFactors or other LMS software an asset
  • French or Spanish speaking not required but a plus
