• Provides accurate, timely responses for a broad range of technical product inquiries which are either by phone or fax from retailers, end users, architects, designers, Business Development Representatives, etc.
• Educates callers to properties and advantages of our product offerings, both in general and within a given end use.
• Works in conjunction with the chemists regarding advanced technical inquiries.
• Assists in converting competitive specifications into Benjamin Moore & Co.products , both architectural and industrial maintenance.
• Refers calls to appropriate personnel regarding sales opportunities, retailer prospects, product complaints and environmental/regulatory inquiries etc.
• Enters data gathered from inquiries into computer software program.
• Conducts research reports from database to share with Business Development, Marketing and Product Development.
• Shares new learnings with Customer Information Center staff to ensure consistent information.
• Coordinates with others in the Customer Information Center to ensure proper phone coverage.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficient interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Benjamin Moore & Co/competitive product knowledge.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Worked with Industrial Maintenance products / attended IM seminars is a plus.
• Strong customer service focus.
• BA/BS preferred
