Position Description

• Manages technical projects for both cooperative partnerships and externally led initiatives.
• Prepares timely reports and updates on project progress.
• Establishes clear timelines and goals through product briefs and project plans.
• Seeks external technology from suppliers, academic institutions, entrepreneurs and governmental agencies.
• Works with R&D, Marketing and Supply Chain to commercialize products or technology.
• Seeks understanding of articulated/unarticulated needs of the consumer.
• Manages technical relationships with vendors.

Requirements:

• MS required PhD preferred with 8-10 years direct relevant work experience.
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to search, find and connect diverse ideas and resources; globally, internal and external to the industry within and outside of Benjamin Moore.
• Ability to create internal and external networks
• Excellent relationship management skills across public and private sectors, with proven ability to develop collaborative relationships across companies, teams, functions and layers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate complex concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
• Ability to drive collaboration and create detailed project plans, coordinate execution against them, driving accountability for deliverables with team members & stakeholders.
• Financial acumen and ability to value an idea
• Ability to multi-task, develop and manage contracts, delivering on time and on budget.
• Works independently with guidance.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and priorities
