The Enterprise Information Delivery (EID) Manager is responsible for leading, defining, establishing and managing information delivery solutions across the enterprise.

The Enterprise Information Delivery Manager must be able to identify opportunities to maximize the use of operational and analytical information delivery tools and processes in response to business dynamics and market opportunities with an emphasis on SAP related solutions.

The Enterprise Information Delivery Manager must be able to project, manage and control work streams for complex programs and projects in a matrix environment. The role also requires excellent client management and team management skills, including virtual team management, cross-vendor management and matrix team management. The role also requires a strong set of leadership skills with a proactive and participative management style.

The Enterprise Information Delivery Manager must also be able to manage and continuously improve support processes and deliverables related to information delivery – working in partnership with the Managed Services Group (ATOS).

Job Function

 

Discretionary Work Management(Projects/Enhancements)

  • Able to manage and control the utilization of resources in the delivery of projects, partnering with Project Managers from the PMO, where required and with the managed services group, where needed.
  • Identify, define and manage in parallel complex programs and projects/enhancements in a matrix environment.
  • Partner with the Business Sponsors and Project Leads to drive projects affecting information management and delivery
  • Identify and manage project issues related to information delivery with business partners and/or project teams
  • Recognize related risks/issues that need escalation and arrange for appropriate assistance while driving the same to resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to the PMO process for managing projects and required deliverables.
  • Participate in regular status meetings with project teams, as led by project managers
  • Identify long term data and information needs and provide a recommendation for the delivery of information to the enterprise – whether they are operational, analytical or strategic solutions.

 

Technical Development Management

  • Oversee the ongoing development and operations of an information delivery architecture that enables fact-based decision making, operational excellence, ad hoc analysis and insight generation.
  • Participate in Requirements, Design, Development and testing where needed
  • Define future end-state solutions in response to business dynamics or opportunities
  • Manage the development of Information Delivery Solutions based on industry standards
  • Improve and streamline processes regarding the display, delivery and use of information
  • Create and manage a regular process to monitor and report on relevant statistics in partnership with the Managed Services Group.

 

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data and information management and delivery.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Interact, collaborate and negotiate with project team, IT colleagues and business line contacts to integrate activities to meet client needs
  • Provide input to supervisors of project personnel
  • An ability to manage and work with a culturally diverse population

 

Support Management

  • Partner with the Managed Services Group in resolving incidents if an escalation is required from the level 1 support team
  • Create and manage a regular process to monitor and report on relevant statistics in partnership with the Managed Services Group.
  • Identify opportunities to improve on services related to Information Delivery

Knowledge Management

  • Educate the business and IT, in general, in the value of efficient and effective information delivery that is aligned with an enterprise level of KPI definitions and standard attributes
  • Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members
  • Track and maintain all aspects of enhancement deliverables and documentation
  • Follow standards and processes for change management and version control

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
  • At least 10 years of experience in Information Delivery including Operational Reporting and Business Intelligence/analytics
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing major complex global development projects with emphasis on information delivery solutions related to SAP
  • Significant and recent experience in the use and management of SAP Netweaver tools including HANA Live, Fiori, Business Warehouse, Business Objects and other related tools (for example Infoburst, APOS, etc.)
  • Significant and recent experience in the use of a data discovery/visualization tool (e.g. Qlik, Tableau, Lumira)
  • Recent experience in the use of mobile BI and embedded BI(e.g. inside a CRM solution)
  • Experience in the creation and defense of business cases for information delivery implementations, working in partnership with the business sponsors
  • Significant and recent experience in utilizing master data management concepts
  • At least 5 years of experience in Team Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in Budget Creation, Management and Control
  • Business Process knowledge in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and/or Finance a plus
  • Proven track record of developing and managing multiple information delivery projects and deliverables in parallel.
  • Executive-level written and verbal presentation skills, with superior meeting facilitation capabilities.
