IT SUPPORT ANALYST I

The Business Technology Group, Information Technology Section, has (1) opening for an IT Support Analyst I available within the IT Infrastructure Services Unit located at Metropolitan's Headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

 

JOB SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for the performance of daily, routine work for the IT Infrastructure Unit. The position will be responsible for but not limited to performing tape backups and offsite storage; researching and documenting IT Infrastructure systems; installing small IT application systems; assisting with research and documentation of IT hardware and software systems; and performing research and analysis for IT Infrastructure projects.

JOB DUTIES

1. Performs nightly backups and executes off-hour processing.

2. Assists in media preparation for off-site storage and retrieval

3. Performs other related Information Technology Support Analyst job duties as required.


WORK SCHEDULE: 9/80 (Alternate Friday's off)

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Required Knowledge of: Principles, practices, and procedures of Information Technology disciplines; operational characteristics of various computer systems; word processing, spreadsheets and other software applications; disaster recovery practices; and current office technology and equipment.
LICENSES
Valid California Class C Driver License or equivalent from state of residency is required
