Philip Morris USA's role is to responsibly manufacture and market PM USA Brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Central Maintenance Service Leader to join our Manufacturing department in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will provide maintenance services for Direct Materials (DM), Finished Goods (FG), Cigarette Manufacturing (CM) and equipment installation through Central Shop (CS) infrastructure at the Manufacturing Center (MC).

Specific accountabilities include:

* Coordinating with MC senior leadership on planning reactive and planned maintenance activities throughout the year, to include budget tracking and execution of a $13MM budget and allocating resources for a staff of 6 salaried and 48 hourly employees.
* Initiating the development of business strategies or revisions to operational procedures and work practices to achieve compliance with safety, cost, quality and productivity requirements.
* Developing strategies regarding requirements and changes in spare parts inventory for DM, FG & CS.
* Ensuring proper work planning, employee training and development, performance appraisal, advancement planning, recognition, rewards and disciplinary action; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
* Coordinating with functional senior leadership to develop a reliability program for DM/FG.
* Effectively coaching and developing direct reports.
* Administering labor agreements for departmental employees; participating in negotiations, grievance and arbitration proceedings.

Specific Skills

Qualifications include:

* A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* A minimum of 3 years or relevant experience.
* Ability to coach and mentor salaried personnel.
* Ability to communicate department and Operating Company goals and results to both senior management and the workforce.
* Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks.
