The City of Greenfield, CA is seeking a Management Analyst to perform staff or administrative work in the City Manager’s Office and other City Departments.  Position is an excellent way to get broad administrative experience and ideal for candidates oriented toward broad public management careers.  The Management Analyst will have three primary areas of responsibility: Financial Management, Grants Management, and Communications & Marketing.  Work involves directing or participating in gathering information, making statistical analyses, studying special administrative problems, developing improved systems, assisting with grant acquisition and administration and coordinating media/marketing and communications.

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to demonstrate advanced use of spreadsheets, effective customer service through contact with the public, and demonstrate initiative and independent judgment.  The candidate will have general experience in research, finance, or general management, preferably in the public sector.  An Associate’s degree in Public or Business Administration with course work in finance, economics accounting or a related field or any other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.

Compensation & Benefits

Employee total compensation ranges from $45,000 up to $65,000 annually depending on specific experience and training.  Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, Life insurance, Short and long term disability, 5 years vesting in PERS, Vacation, 14 paid holidays.
