In Judge Henry J Nowak was provided a grant through the Oishei Foundation to redevelop Housing Court. The Housing Court Reform Project developed most of the innovations now used daily in this court. I was charged with many duties that placed me in constant contact with community leaders, block clubs, community development organizations, Buffalo Police, Erie County District Attorney and others.

Duties included but were not limited to education of police officers for the Order to Vacate program, meeting regularly with block clubs and other community organizations to develop streamlined nuisance and housing issues reporting and resolution, new program development such as the Lis Pendens Program whereby financial institutions were held responsible for vacant properties they held liens on and the Rooming House Task Force which resulted in the updating of Chapter of the Buffalo City Charter. Due to the many contacts I developed during this time I still work with neighborhood representatives throughout the city.

In the RSA National Quality Control Program, my responsibilities included on-site performance audits of various auction facilities on a nationwide basis. The audit program is of the highest quality assurance which benefits both RSA and its extensive client base. During each visit these facilities were checked for condition report accuracy; reconditioning; marketing efforts; repairs; accuracy of expense reports and estimates; transportation; proceeds timeliness and continual auction/dealer relationships.

Further duties included travel cost and expense evaluation for budget and schedule recommendations; market trends; marketing and promotion review and development for each facility; new client prospecting and overall facility review and recommendations.
In addition, I assisted in the development of special promotions and training programs for both the company and auction. These promotions include The Great Texas Truck Sale for Dealers Auto Auction of Dallas, Consumer Feedback Program for First Union National Bank and The Close on One training guide during the launch of RSA’s Lease Maturity Management department.
