A $29 billion company operating a growing retail base of 6,500+ stores along with health clinics and specialty pharmacies with focuses in consumer goods and services and pharmacy, health, and wellness services.

Corporate Manager, Merchandising Strategy & Development
Built a methodology to develop, test, and deploy concept stores and their strategic components. Created impact assessments and work plans while prioritizing goals around capability development in areas of store innovation and operational execution of new processes and service models. Set the strategy for scope and pilot management including how and when innovation is incorporated and deployed. Key facilitator to Board of Directors and C-level executives for financial business case supporting major corporate and store process improvements to enable future store growth.

* Transformed corporate processes around facilities design, labor utilization, inventory management, and circular size and content resulting in a new retail concept tailored to a lower breakeven, generating 250-700 basis point improvements in 25 Yr. IRR per store, reducing breakeven sales by $900K.
* Investigated urban stores identifying critical operational challenges. Leveraged learnings to generate the burning platform for small store reform.
